Values in action
Six values run through how we hire, how we handle mistakes, and how we choose partners, and you can see them in the ordinary decisions as much as the big ones.
Every group says it has values. Most of them are a word cloud in the staff room.
Ours started as the operating manual for a business we wanted to still be proud of in twenty years. They sit under one idea we call stewardship: leave everything you touch stronger than you found it.
Here is what that looks like on a normal week.
Flag a dispensing near-miss here and the response is a debrief and a system fix. We would rather hear about it early than have people hide things.
When a hard conversation needs to happen, we have it. Respectfully, in private, and through to a resolution. Problems do not get to sit around because they are awkward.
The win belongs to the whole team, and the credit is shared. Managers here are measured as much on who they have grown as on what they have sold.
When something goes wrong, we focus on fixing it and stopping it from repeating. You are trusted to take responsibility, and backed when you do.
Your idea gets heard whether you are the intern or the partner. We separate the idea from the person, argue it properly, and land on the better answer.
We expect you to question how the business runs and help make it better. Pharmacy is changing fast, and the people who ask "why do we do it this way" are the ones we promote.
